Set a useful baseline first
Monitoring is most useful after you have reviewed the current diagnostics. Run a manual scan, understand the remaining Recommended or Critical findings, and only then enable scheduled monitoring. That gives future checkpoints something meaningful to compare against.
What a checkpoint records
Monitoring stores compact local evidence such as the counts of Critical, Recommended and Healthy findings together with what is new, what resolved and what changed severity. It is intended to highlight a meaningful change after plugin updates, hosting changes, scheduled-job failures or configuration work.
Email alerts
When configured, Site Doctor can send a WordPress email when a health change is detected. The message can include the new finding, current totals and a direct link back to the Repair Center.
A successful WordPress wp_mail() result means WordPress handed the message to its configured mail transport. It is not proof that the recipient’s mailbox provider delivered or accepted the message. If alerts do not arrive, test the site’s mail transport separately.
Printable report
The printable Pro report is designed for review, support handoff and saving as PDF. It can include current diagnostic totals, environment information, entitlement status, Search Intelligence connection/property metadata, actionable findings, monitoring checkpoints and repair/action history.
JSON evidence export
The JSON export provides structured diagnostic evidence for technical archiving or further analysis. Treat exported diagnostic information as potentially sensitive operational data and store it accordingly.
Secrets are excluded
Google OAuth access tokens and Client Secrets are not exported in the Pro report. License references are masked instead of exposing complete keys.
Monitoring is not uptime monitoring
Site Doctor monitoring watches its diagnostic state on the WordPress installation. It does not promise continuous external uptime observation, mailbox delivery, Google indexing or third-party service availability.
