TopNotch Site Doctor Pro Licenses and Private Updates

License plans

TopNotch Site Doctor Pro is licensed by active site allowance: Pro 1 Site, Pro 5 Sites, Pro 15 Sites and Pro Unlimited. Paid tiers use the same Pro feature set; the allowance controls how many WordPress installations can be active at the same time.

Activation

Open Tools → TopNotch Site Doctor → License, enter the complete license key and activate it on the current site. A successful entitlement should show the plan, activation count, expiry and private-update availability.

Moving a license

Deactivate the license on the old site before activating it on a replacement site. That releases the activation slot. If the previous site is permanently inaccessible, contact support with the purchase email and masked license reference rather than posting the full key publicly.

Private updates

Licensed Pro updates are delivered through WordPress’s normal plugin update interface. The update package is not a public download URL: the license service verifies entitlement and returns a time-limited signed download URL for the permitted release.

If an update is offered but download fails

  1. Confirm the license is Active and refresh entitlement in the Pro License tab.
  2. Open Dashboard → Updates and choose Check again.
  3. Confirm the server can make outbound HTTPS requests.
  4. If the error says the service is unavailable, do not repeatedly delete/reinstall the plugin. Record the exact message and time and send them to support.

Site Doctor’s update path is designed so a failed update does not require a public Pro package. If WordPress reports Updated!, reopen the plugin list and confirm the installed version before continuing.

Keep Free installed

Pro remains an add-on. Do not remove TopNotch Site Doctor Free after activating Pro because Free supplies the diagnostic engine used throughout the Pro workspace.
